Attached is a sample video for a band I know. Won't mention a name as this isn't intended as a shameless plug....
They aren't signed but personally I rate them... (and no I'm not a member

)
Would be really interested in some honest opinions, if anyone is bored and has 2 mins?

Honestly I wasn't that impressed - sounded a bit like the Thrills?
But if you were to put my I-pod on random

-you'd hear I'm not the best judge!

Just about to say, very influenced by / reminiscent of The Thrills I think.
Decent enough poppy track, not immediately to my own taste but I think it might market OK.
Would be interested to hear some other material. Want to upload just some other audio, if you have it?

Gourock's Finest?
I heard them last year. They sound well put together. No reason that they shouldn't do well.
Your not in the band so are you one of their dads'?

I thought it was pretty good actually. (honestly)
Dont think I would ever consider buying it but wouldnt turn it off if it was on. Considering I would turn most stuff off is actually pretty complementary

I think it's a grower . . . liked it more on the 2nd listen. Don't know if I'd rush out and buy it, but I'd gladly listen to it and would be interested in listening to more and seeing what they sound like live.
I definitely think there's a market out there for it.
You managing them or summat?

Well I knew that you was old but you have a selection of hearing aids and batteries and dont approve of good music - you sound like your Dad.
After many years of Black Sabbath and Metallica I have no need for a hearing aid - they cannot do anything good for me.

thank you for that, not
They're just mates....I used to jam with some of them, so know they have talent, but I have no involvement with them professionally...
Cheers for opinions....surprised that they haven't been signed, if anyone does want to hear more they're on myspace (search: No.1 Son).
They did have a song on one of the last FIFA games, under the name 'Sneak Attack Tigers', for which they got paid £0 royalties. Guess the yacht in the bahamas might have to wait!
Good luck to them...
Btw.. the guitarist's claim to fame is that he got laid in the centre circle at hampden park- worth remarking as it's not often any scotsman scores on the hallowed turf
