Show very entertaining so far,.. however,

Did anyone else notice the mud on the 'star in a reasonably priced car' was cleaned off part way through her lap? :?

Loved it! They really should have got themselves a John Deere!

I think they use random footage for the laps :?

yeah - ive noticed it more and more in this series that its so staged and editted down - especially the challenges. I was thinking to myself that they have changed from presentors to actors.

still a good laugh though - that slow motion train crash was quite scary! :? didnt really expect anything else from a train crash TBH, but the slow motion really lets you see impact! :?

I used to work at the alstom traincare depots where they used to get a train in every week or so to jet wash the blood and guts off the front of the train where people jumped off of bridges etc

There is a lot of staging but mainly its very well done. There still plenty of off the cuff bits. Hamsters heckling of Clarkson during the Kristin Scott Thomas bit was good, the reaction when she described the Lambo Clarkson had on order as pathetic was hilarious.

NOOPS 160 wrote:Cracking episode :thumbsup even spotted a peregrine amongst the tractors :thumbsup little wonder some of the TG guys were a little slow , some of these big fellas have over 40 forward gears and 20 in reverse  and the in cab technology is amazing  and tractor drivers on farms work for less than £250/300 per week.
i was p1ssing myself when the stig fell off his seat going round that corner  - superb :thumbsup

Dave, gies yer gearbox!

stiggy's on-track antics had me p1ssing myself, the bouncy seat then the almost ejectgion in the JCB GTI

Great episode, but Clarkson is getting rather predictable in his tests - quite a few now he spends the first 2 minutes slating a car as dull, bland etc, then he gets a throb-knob about them :) The GTI vs Lambo was good, very similar to a test he did about 10 years ago on one of his videos with a "fast car" - R34 GTR vs Maclaren F1.

All in, great entertainment :thumbsup

it was random, but the slating they were giving Clarkson was brilliant. Even May was thrashing him!

Thought his interview was woeful, but loved the 640.

Stig flying out of the seat of the tractor on his lap was hilarious. Did something similar in a transit van going round a roundabout   :D

On the bio-ethanol story did anybody catch how much they expected to get from 25 acres?

I thought it sounded like a lot.

Thinking of buying a field faction.

15 tons rape seed oil. 9000 gallons of petrol.

that's what they said on the show, but if 9000 gallons is 45000 litres then i'd be surprised if they get that. maybe they meant 9000 litres.
