Maybe time to take my hard top off!

Post by David Bryce » Fri Feb 23, 2007 5:41 pm

I'm thinking that as the weather is getting better I should really take my hard top off, plus it should stop the usual 'big poof' comments :D

As it was MMC that fitted it a few months ago I have no idea how to take the thing off, I assume it's rather easy but is there anything I should be aware of first?

I took the g/f away to Peebles Hydro for her birthday last March. Took the elise. Woke up in the morning and it was like a scene from The Shining! (an outside scene with lots of snow next to the big hotel)
Had to stay another night! :)

Checked the manual and it looks really easy to take off, thanks however Neil for your suggestion

Get the thing off David!!! :thumbsup

It's great when you get a wee surprise with the weather and you're able to just pop the soft top off and into the boot and drive home in the evening sunshine! 8) I'm so glad I never got a hardtop now. I've the roof off several times over the winter and I just wouldn't have been able to with the hardtop.

Mine's been in the loft all year - the soft top can take it and has better gutters - so no drips in the car.

Means you can go topless in Feb :

and enjoy these views :
