Great pictures. I got hooked on that site a while ago (28 days later). All the places you've ever fancied exploring. :)

Yeah I had a look through it a few months back and theres some cool stuff; like an abandoned subway station in the west end of Glasgow. Nearby and never knew it was there.

'scuse my ignorance here, but do these guys just break in to places to snap em, to say they've been there?

Awesome shots those - seems incomprehensible that receivers/liquidators or someone hasn't rescued/salvaged some of that gear :?

I think most just brassneck it; they dont go to steal / wreck the place, just a curious look and to take snaps. So folk like us can sit at our desks and go ooooooh :D

Haven’t been on that site but there is a lot of stuff under Glasgow which is surprisingly easy to access. When I was at Uni (few years ago now) we regularly went on “urban safariâ€

Is that the station in the Botanics, just by Great Western Rd? Looks facinating to explore.

I've spent quite a few hours touring the arches under central station - quite erie.

Will have a trawl through the records department to see what I can come up with :-)

The part-complete cars...so many of them...is the spookiest bit. So much asset tied up there...albeit questionable worth at this point!
