......... had enough of steamed up windows and wet trouser legs off the water on the floor. So the hardtop is now on for the winter. Forgot how good it is. Car's much quieter coz of the sound deadning. Let the flaming begin........

The only reason to put the hardtop on is to stop the sycamore seeds growing out of the roof fabric......
Mine goes on in the next two weeks, so it can be adjusted at the service.

well...i suppose it adds a bit of chassis rigidity to the car
i would take the roof off the exige....if it didnt look so manly with it on

Wont add rigidity coz it's not a monocoque car. Chassis is seperate to the bodywork on the Elise. It does add 10kg though. And i'm kinda liking the warm quieter car now, might just keep this on!!!!

im sure there must be some aerodynamic disadvantage with having your hairdo sticking up over the windscreen
