I've noticed a few of the peeps on here have more than 1 car per household, how do you insure them ??
I have been driving for 8yrs and have Full NCB, other half has been driving for 6yrs but has no NCB due to never insuring/owning another car.
Car 1 : 1997 Lotus Elise
Registered keeper : Me
Drivers : Me, Other Half
Insurer : Tesco
Cost : £750
Car 2 : 2007 Audi A4 s-line
Registered Keeper : Me
Drivers : Me, Other Half
Insurer : ???
Cost : ???
The best way to insure 2 cars ??

Not only do you get competitive quotes on the elise but they should be able to mirror your NCD for your 2nd car if you are looking to insure it in your name. Quite a few insurers will give you 'credit' for your previous driving history when quoting for new buisiness for someone in your other halfs situation anyway.

I use Direct Line as they give me full no claims on both cars and an extra 10% off but that is beacuse I am the only driver fro both cars. I looked around for other quotes last year but because I had one crash in the Exige most companys really increased the premuims thank god for protected no claims.

Agree with ExigeKen... if you've got 1 driver in the house but 2 cars DL do something special. Same if you have 2 drivers, but 3 cars (basically, more cars than drivers).
In fact, Direct Line also do a 'linked policy' thing that they can apply even if you have 2 cars with the same drivers on each... which we almost took. It would have linked my wifes policy to mine (so using my NCB on 1 car and hers on the other..and applying further 'linked' discount, took about £80 off their normal price for the Elise). In the end, A-Plan beat them though...
