looking for advice on new exhaust

Hi all,

Not sure if this should go in the technical section but i was Just looking for an opinion on this exhaust i'm thinking about getting. It comes from a company called long life exhausts and will be considerably cheaper than most other options. I'm just looking for a bit of a growl to go with the hurricane, nothing major. I realise the 12bhp gain is probably nonsense.

Should i go for it?

Cheers

Ron

Larini was the best (or at least most popular) choice for the K S2. They sound great with a hurricane.

In all honesty mate (and I know yu'll disregard this completely!) you would be far better off keeping the standard exhaust and doing some trackdays or driver training. After a while, you forget that the sound is more burbly etc than standard. In any event, the hurricane will prob have made the best difference you're likely to get; I hazard you may be disappointed.

Another option is to have the car de-catted. This will cost you £30 for the pipe, and will prob give you a similar 2-5HP gain (or actually, maybe not as you need back pressure with VVC) and a louder noise.

Best advice, find people with different zorsts and have a listen :) Mac's Janspeed does sound the plums :D
