Bought a new car for xmas :o)

Post by renmure » Tue Dec 19, 2006 8:35 pm

Just bought a Ferrari 355 GTB after what seems like an age of thinking about it. Settled on a Rosso/Crema, manual, full Tubi exhaust system with decat pipes. 30k miles with full Ferrari SH. It should be delivered sometime next week.

Had to sell the Esprit but will be keeping the elise and exige so I can still hang around here and enjoy the banter :)

Suppose I had better go explain to Wendy why the Freezer has to move back out of the garage!

Congrats - nice car! A manual 355 GTB would just about my perfect Fezza - much nicer looking than any contemporary Ferrari to my eyes and without one of those nasty footballer spec flappy paddle gearboxes. Should sound rather tasty with the Tubi too 8)

Not yet, that will be 1st 'upgrade' for January birthday. But... at £700 for the Challenge Grill its an expensive bit of mesh :? Might try Hammerite Paint first.

Hmm might have a mate with a spare one, he was given both when he bought his 355 and then punted it for his wedding and DB9 and knowing him he might have it in his garage.

Emailing him now.
