Lotus predictions for 07

Time to indulge in a bit of idle speculation about what Lotus will bring out in 2007. With the Esprit delayed to 2008 or beyond, my betting for next year would be on: 1) a regular production Exige R with the 245 engine as per the Cup car; 2) possibly a more powerful Europa R towards the middle of the year (they would be daft not to do this given the obvious tunability of the engine) ; and 3) an announcement towards the end of the year about a heavily revised S3 Elise (has to be on the cards as the the S2 was announced way back in late 2000 and has now been in production much longer than the S1). What do you reckon guys?

More likely they will bring out the 255 here:

How about the anouncement of a "lotus tuned" cheap hot hatch along the lines of the Proton thingy... Must be time for another one of those.

Already been announced I think for the new Satria.

Apart from the Circuit Car not a lot else from Lotus... though probably around a dozen or so special editions of the Elise
