MMC Warrenty????

Post by Wacky Racer » Mon Dec 18, 2006 12:57 am

Hi

Has anyone had any experience of mmc used warrenty? I've had my car for about 2 months now and have had shocking problems with water leaks from the drivers side roof and window scraper seals which were suppost to have been fixed before i got the car.

Also the engine air ducts have problems in that the bottom fixing bolts on each side are missing meaning they rattle themselves to pieces ever thime i take it out.

My fear is mmc will tell me that this fantastic warrenty i got with the car won't cover the above mentioned.

Just for good measure I'm suppost to get a courtesy car tommorow which now seems unlikely as the service department have'nt spoken to anyone else within the dealership, i wonder i this is a common trate.

Any thoughts???

Fix the vents yourself?
Leaks are just a common problem unless you can notice where the water is getting in i.e. window needs adjusted. I've noticed you're from Lanarkshire so it's been pissing with rain for over a month. Elise doesn't like heavy rain. I'm surprised you guys didn't ditch the cars and just build an Ark :D

Yeah, take it to MMC...sure they will fix the problem immediately in a competent manner, and give you one of the astons as a courtesy car.

Neil, there's that damn cow again!

If the problems were apparent before you bought, and they were supposed to fix them, then should be straightforward enough, I'd have thought...?

If they said they would fix them, take the car back in and say it needs fixing :) If it has become apparent only since you bought it, take it back and they will fix it. Ask them first, then if they give you jip, post up and the 'cow' comments can come out to play :)

You should expect to get the same level of service that the rest of us get....
