I wish I had his money.

Well I've not read it all!

(up to page 8 - it sounds like owning an F1 is ace, not just the driving but the support you get from the factory).

I've been thinking about a group buy. I know I'm not one of the regulars but if we all chipped in a grand...
I promise to look after it and keep it in the garage when it is raining and I'll bring it to KH and let you all touch it. I'll even put a small SE sticker on it and you can all tell everyone you have a 1/400th share of an F1 which a bloke in Kilmarnock sometimes lets you look at.
Do you think you can get a child's seat for it? I'll make sure Millie doesn't eat chocolate in it.
