Digital 8 Sony Handycam advice

Evening chaps & chapesses after some more advice.
Been looking to pick up the above for a season now and after borrowing my brother in laws camera am sold. Helps scratch an itch and stops me splurging on a DSLR.

The only things that let it down for me are lack of inputs namely ext. video & sound for a bullet cam / mic. Anyone aware of the model that would tick my boxes ?
