Link nicked from SELOC
http://www.bit-hdtv.com/

Got down some movies e.g. 5th Element @ 500k per second in 1080p. Site can only get better with more movies on Blue Ray. BTW if you do not have a HD TV you can still "experience" "true" HD not 720p on your putter.

My link is still chewing through the 22GB Band Of Brothers Series at 1080p. And to think my first puter had a 0.625GB hard drive.

And before anyone asks yes there is a "specialist" section of the site.

Bottom line, Porn so good you can see the sweat on their brow. (Sky call centre sales staff are taught to sell it as 'you can see the sweat on the footballers)!

Presumably you'll need a digital output on your pc or you won't get it in HD on the TV.

Most HD TVs will have a 9 pin D-sub VGA connector

connect this to your puter / slaptop and job done. It will be at this point you realise that you can play puter games on your Plasma and you are fecked.

A wee while back I d/lded a clip of Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Man's Chest. I used a demo of CyberLink PowerDVD to watch it. My PC struggled a bit, with a fair bit of stuttering.
I am running an AMD XP3000+ & GF6800 Gfx card. I presume you need a farily powerful pc to run it smoothly?
Shame as I also have a projector which I was keen to incorprate.

Haven't signed up for the site you linked. Not sure about the security of my machine for leeching (whatever that is :? )

My PC is way too slow for it, real pain. Might treat myself for xmas though.

Been file sharing for 7 years, it is the chumps who get off on sharing stuff 100% of the time that get caught. Hope on get what you want, give something back, hop off.

I will be sticking some of these test files on my usb 60GB drive to drop off a mates with a nice big HD telly to test out.
