Locking wheel nut tool

Feck!
I've miss placed my locking nut removal tool and I need to change my rear pads.

The brake light is flashing but only when I go round corners so I guess due to having low pads the brake fluid level has went down.

Could I manage another KH?

The light has more to do with the fluid level, it doesn't tell you abou tthe condition of the pads..its an Exige not a Maclaren F1

If you can't find the locking wheel nut its not a good set of options you are left with :(

The thought behind it, if there is low brake pad it will mean the brake piston will be further out and therefore the fluid level will drop as there is less compression.

:?:

From this pic the rears are looking too low:

Does anyone local (Ali?) have a tool to fit this:

I reckon they would be ok.

how many miles has your car done G?
my fronts need changed at 7k as they were dead, rears still had atleast half left. Remember they come with less on them to start with compared to the fronts. :D

Like I said on msn, if there's anyone that has one and can take it to KH on Sat, we can change them before the start in 30 mins no problem.

Not going to take the risk.
Ronnie may need his jack for someone else and I don't want to risk loosing out on track time.

If I can't get hold of one by tomorrow I'll give KH a miss.

Thought about him but he's not a big poster.
No way of getting hold of him.

G i think ive read that there are circa 20 different shapes of locking wheel nut, :( have you removed your battery cover etc and had a good hunt for your one. If you cant find a key it will cost £40 for each one that needs drilled. :(

Searched everywhere.
Sure Robin gave it to me in a little bag.

Actually just spoke to Robin. HE thinks it could be left of the battery - thought I would of noticed it last night when I removed all the boot lining (soaking wet) but it was dark.

make sure you triple check. AndyGs was totally lost, then on third check, appeared somewhere in region of battery, under carpet(although youve had your carpet out.).

just a thought... :D
