Hi,

I have been looking around for a wee while for a list of scottish specialist i.e because there is only a single dealer in scotland. I have nothing against dealers i just wanted to know what options i have.

- Jude Performance Services in Newcastle seem to be well recommended. (although a little far away - and not in scotland :) )

- Dreadnoughts in Calender service the elise (but not 111R or exigeS2 they tell me)

- Roys Autos in Arbroath were mentioned.

- Falkland Performance Centre in Glenrothes said they could service any Lotus.

- JM Edinburgh.

- DJB Motorsport service the Elise.

- Struan (Toyota Dealer) in Dundee i though maybe able to deal with the 111R / Exige S2 toyota unit.

Who does everyone else here use ?

Anyone tried a Toyota dealer for servicing the toyota unit ?

Thanks for any information
Scott

One would imagine a toyota dealer would be fine with the oil change/belts end of the market - as long as you made sure they knew about jacking points etc. I'd be tempted by your list though - can't, off the top of my head, think of anyone else I've heard of.

Used Roy in Arbroath to get my brake hoses and fluid changed, £30ph. Don't know if he's done any Toyota ones though, worth giving him a call and asking. One thing he won't do is arrange any parts for you. He told me he got hassle last time he tried to order parts and they took ages (no surprise there really!) and he had a car sitting around in the way. So he asks you to order your own parts beforehand.
