Fifth Gear....

:chainsaw

sorry to bring this up again but can't believe how shocking a programme this is, WTF is the purpose of the blonde guy  , he doesn't like being a passenger going quick, he doesn't like driving fast and he doesn't know what the diff. between a S/C and Turbo is !!!!

Should he be hosting the clothes show !?

So far 2nite they drove a lichfield Scooby, told you virtually nothing about it, watched a GT40 driven by an amatuer toodle round a track and a supercharged/turbo powered golf, which again they told you nothing about :!:

There not exactly stuck for time they have 60 mins well hold on I'm sure I just watched 6mins+ of ads

Absolute crap. VBH was once reasonably normal, but those two should now join together in a suicide pact.

As for watching a Ferrari 599 being driven at 15mph for two days..........

It is shocking how devoid of content it is. I cannot really understand why they don't jazz it up a bit - how hard could it be?

I haven't watched it for ages.

Can't believe how poor that programme was.

The way the litchfield Subaru section was shot was a total top gear rip off, all graded filters and a sub Craig Armstrong/Rob Dougan soundtrack.

And the GT40 bit? Grief ,awwww bless Mr Millionaire Golfer will have to wait a couple of days before he can play with his toy. Bloody Hell man, get a decent haircut.

Thank goodness University Challenge came on.

I could make better TV than that, maybe I should send my CV into Five they'll hire anyone it seems on the talent, or lack of the blonde guy.

Does anyone actually know who that twat is that sits next to VBH?
She used to have a bit of cred but its going down, down, down V quickly.

Sad thing is, cause there isnt really an alternative on, I know i'll sit through the series and just get annoyed watching it. :x

The producer obviously came straight from his apprenticeship at Halfords.

His dad invented Global Hypercolour t-shirts. Another fact. He used to work for him, but it also would not surprise me if he had worked in the circus at one point.

The man's a loon.

Nice enough guy though.

The guy is Tim Lovejoy and hosts the fantastic football programme Soccer AM on Saturday mornings.

Guess he knows more about leather balls than cars.

I used to think fifth gear was the best motoring show on the tv... back when it was vbh, tiff, and plato.... those 3 (especially tiff and plato) *know* how to drive. They were frequently out tanning the arse off high performance cars.

Now its taken a major step towards the likes of Sky 1's diablolical Vroom Vroom. This is a show which did a serious test to see if go faster stripes actually worked or not!

When anyone finds a motoring programme that has enthusiasts values to heart... let me know.
