Anyone tried or playing iRacing?
Seems to be the choice of esports, even mad Max V is keeping his hand in with this sim

Some of us are back on PS4's for the same reason. Not tried iRacing as I don't have a gaming PC and by the look of things you need a fair machine to run it. Not without it's issues though, a lot of crashes and not on track.

What’s the consensus on best wheel/seat setup for PS4?
Are you all on GT Sport?

Yeah read they are quite strict on iRacing exclusion for off track and crashing into others but nothing about the software! FIA approved seat for esports is over £2k with no PC or controllers, better buying a Lotus

Im playing Gran Turismo Sport
there's some great race tracks - then I googled them & they are fictional !
only British one is Brands Hatch
& Suzuka is there too

So is Spa, monza, the ring, red bull ring, catalunya, goodwood, le mans to name a few others.

I use a G29, playseat and 4k monitor, wheel is pretty good and can be used on xbox, PC and mac apparently though never tried it on any of those.
There is a few of us that are back on PS4's since lock down.

Mike, is the monitor stand part of the game seat set up or standalone?

The monitor stand is one of these but it didn't bring the monitor close enough so I added one of these. Drilled through both parts of the main support and bolted the monitor wall mount to the stand. A lot cheaper than the play seat version.

Iracing fan here. great Sim and usually some super racing.

I'm getting into VR sim racing more and more for lockdown 2.0 and about to pull the trigger on an iRacing subscription.

Also on - Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competzioni, RFactor 2, Automobilista 2, Project Cars 2 and Dirt Rally 2 if anyone wants to play?
