Hi

Just thought I would drop this on here, as I know that you guys all like a competitive deal!!

Its that time of the year when Lotus does its traditional finance offer and its proved to go down very well with SELOC members.

Here’s the outline of the offer on the Elise S that runs until the end of December 2006. Its been designed around the Elise S as this is great value pure sports car and is having a large appeal with Enthusiasts like yourselves.

Hope you agree its not a bad offer and the rate is subsidised by Lotus.

Offer:

Lotus Elise S, on the road cash price £23,995.00, deposit £5,995.00, amount of credit £18,000.00, followed by 36 monthly payments of £199.00 and a final payment of £13,916.50 which is payable one month after the last monthly payment. A £125 acceptance fee is payable in addition to the first monthly payment. Total amount payable £27,200.50 APR 6.7% (typical).

Happy to assist with any questions etc.

Starts 1st November!!

Best regards
Thats the elise s residuals destroyed aswell then.......

i guess the theory is you try and sell the car for more than your final payment or chop it in and pass the finance on to the next car....

Save up over the term...
Or take a loan for the final payment I guess.

I try and avoid these myself (pay cash faction).

Saying that I bought the Exige on VISA. :)

(but made sure it was paid it off that month!)

Bet he got a few air miles for that one...

I know plenty of folk who have taken deals like that... all they do at the end is take out a 5yr loan or so, not secured on the car of course. That way they have a car which costs them around £200 per month for the whole time they have the car, so it's easy to budget, plus... once they are into years 4/5 of ownership, the loan is worth less than the car so if they have to sell, they can clear it no bother....

cheers

new engine was on my BM card to get the air miles.

Todays tip - use someone elses money to buy depreciating assets.

Poor faction!
Traded in the Elise so not quite so scary.
Still 5 figures though...important thing was to not be late paying the bill, interest would have been scary.
