Everything now (appears) to be sorted!

Picked her up last night from MMC and went on a nice long run, even though it was pissing it down.

First service was done, now I'm really having fun

The engine management light/throttle issue is apparently a known problem on the new S as of this week, something to do with the fancy electronic throttle not communicating with the ECU correctly. They downloaded a new bit of software onto the ECU which has just been released and all is good (maybe it's just my imagination but she now seems to run a hell of a lot better than before)

The brake warning light thing was just a case of topping up the brake fluid.

and the really annoying rattling sound was my drivers side sun visor, which they replaced with a new one.

no idea but they did say that from now on they will be updating the software on all S's before they are sold?

I assume you have not had this problem (yet)?
