Just in case you don't use TLF- this image has caused quite some excitement (With me too

).
There is only a bl00dy tag that holds the fuel cap for you.
And the signage instructing you how to use it is only bl00dy hidden in plain sight,
15 months of ownership - this has amazed me

I discovered the secret tag a while ago and then realised that all our cars have similar devices. Looks like any car that has a secured petrol cap also has a tag to keep it off the bodywork.

...apart from a 2-eleven. It has to sit on the flat bodywork and the filler position is ideally located to put fuel down the back of the drivers neck.
I've used this from day 1 on the Evora.

It's quite a nice design, on the Golf it just hangs on the top edge of the filler door.

It's down the back of the engine and onto the hot bits that worries me more.

Y'all know the trick of taking the cap and jamming it into the fuel nozzle trigger to keep it on so you can fill up hands-free?

Scooby drivers know this instinctively because of how often they visit fuel stations
