Aberdeen - car paint mixing & matching?

Post by Jam_s160 » Tue Jan 03, 2017 3:40 pm

Hi all,

Random questions... anyone know of a business that can colour match (via scanning) automotive paint for cars in aberdeen or aberdeenshire? not for a car but im painting a bike frame and want to colour match the forks etc. I have compressor & spray gun etc. Just need the paint mixed as close as possible to what I want it to be.

Its a dark metallic blue (pearlescent). Tried Halfords standard rattle cans and nothing quite the right colour match.

Cheers

James

I have just had N3 repaired and resprayed by Dicksons of Forres. The manager mentioned the computerised paint scanning system to match the colour if it was not an original factory number, ie mine.

Not sure it they use the system but worth giving Neil Clark a bell on 01309 674234.
