no room in the nose..neil wrote:It's the Evora that's got the 400 & 410. Supposedly that's not possible in the Exige as there's no room in the nose for the charge cooler stuff. Either that or they're saving it for later
Yeah, right, nothing to do with keeping a marketing distance from the more expensive Evora 400....GraemeLotus wrote: no room in the nose..
Komotec don't have to homologate a new car, nor pass crash testing for post-registration mods, nor provide a 3 year pan-Euro warranty.....believe me, it's not quite as easy as it looks...!ryallm wrote:Yeah, right, nothing to do with keeping a marketing distance from the more expensive Evora 400....GraemeLotus wrote: no room in the nose..Komotec can squeeze a charge cooler in there so surely can't be beyond Lotus.
The Sport 380 does look fantastic though
After a bit of dremel work they can all be fitted with a soft top which can then be removed the same as the Elise. The hard top still needs tools to remove. Plus at over 140 you need the hard top as the soft top will try to remove itselfEric K wrote:Are all the new Exiges "roadsters"?
i.e. does the roof bit pop off without the need for a spanner or allen key?

Yes Gramme, loving the back end. I had plans over the winter to add most of the aero that you have just put on the 380....so I will now just be a copy catGraemeLotus wrote:Komotec don't have to homologate a new car, nor pass crash testing for post-registration mods, nor provide a 3 year pan-Euro warranty.....believe me, it's not quite as easy as it looks...!ryallm wrote:Yeah, right, nothing to do with keeping a marketing distance from the more expensive Evora 400....GraemeLotus wrote: no room in the nose..Komotec can squeeze a charge cooler in there so surely can't be beyond Lotus.

The new car is a lovely, lovely thing.....the true performance gap vs 350 is (I'm told) large, and personally I love the new back end.
