It's gone
Re: It's gone
I think the McLaren should keep you smiling Kerry. Is the Exige staying in Scotland?

Didn't take long. Probably for the best!
Glad to have partnered it on the road here and there over the years. True classic well cared for and used as it ought to be.

Well done. Good to see it move fast. Must have been a hard call when it came to let go...

Glad it's gone, stops me agonising about man maths to try and afford it!
Seriously though, congrats on the sale, it looked immaculate.

Re: It's gone
It's heading to Coventry, a nice young chap who works with JLR turned up with a friend who seems to have worked around the industry and enjoys restoring special cars. Both certainly very knowledgable and probably knew more than I did on some aspects.
There was plenty interest, and the usual mix of stupid emails. I don't have too much spare time, so great to get a nice straight forward and efficient sale.
My final task was to demonstrate the manual aircon and hand out some free earplugs for their 8 hour journey.

End of an era, Kerry. Not surprised it sold so easily. A great car!
Still, I can see why it wouldn't get used any more...

S'pose the replacement will suffice.
