I've jut had the dubious pleasure of seeing an Evoque convertible for the first time and since it's parked outside work, I'll probably see it every day :puke

They aren't pretty and I hate what it represents but I'm also sure it will sell like hot cakes :?

Indeed. I think us lot on here are in the minority. Most people would find our enthusiasm for lotus cars weird, given that they are not loaded with gimmicky extras etc etc. I am not a fan of the modern SUV ( I do love landrovers when they are used as originally intended, or just for playing in the mud), but really don't see the need for all these tall cars, especially the fake ones that are only 2WD. I appreciate if you live in the sticks then 4wd makes sense, but not for suburbia. Still, each to their own. We all make choices that are not entirely economical, stylish or educated.
