Another Unusual Advice Request

My fathers uncle was killed in Papua New Guinea way back some time in the late 60's or 70's in a helicopter accident.
Now, we dont remember when and at the time we had Cine8 footage showing the wreckage. We think his body was taken down from the mountain and a memorial put up or grave in Port Moresby but really everything is a little vague, one uncle thinks he was buried at the crash site.
Im heading out there for work and would like to track the grave down. I searched on line but not had any luck and we have no contact with his family.
His wife (Audrey) died a few years ago and his daughter, first name Brenda, moved down south with an Englishman around 30 years back with no contact since.
All we know is that his name was William Wallace, he piloted helicopters as a contractor for oil companies down there. He was ex forces and I believe a squadron leader.
Would anyone have an idea on where to start with something like this?
