New toy :)

Post by Corranga » Sat Jun 04, 2016 8:33 pm

Since the birth of my little girl a little over 2 years ago, I've been on the hunt for a car that would be fun, and would be able to take my wife, my little girl and me.
At the same time, I've always wanted something with more than 4 cylinders, and of course, always feel the draw towards Italians...

So..

I realise I don't have the best history with silver cars - I can guarantee that this one will not be painted bright green!
And I'm sure it's going to be a every bit the money pit, but it's pretty, and I'm loving it so far!

an old work collegue pal of mine has one of these.
For what they sell for now, a really nice alternative to the usual german selection, lets hope its not a money pit...

The Cambiocorsa refers to the f1 automated manual gearbox, but mine is a GT, which means normal manual.
It does have the skyhook dampers (sport mode) which help it along perfectly, and being a face lift 4200 has all the same suspension components of the later Gransport (bar the 19 inch wheels and geometry settings) so it drives almost as good as one of these things can without significant mods.

Was trying to remember donkeys back to my Evo reviews where they said the handling was much improved with the different suspension, completely forgot it was Skyhook dampers ;)

That's a classy motor. Very nice.

Is the exhaust note suitably Italian?
