Same price as I paid for N3. Great to see that in S_E.

Oh that's nice. Would want to return it to an S1 (exige) style front end - no offence to the VX owners

I wonder what is needed to finish it off.

A transmission shaft that doesnt break with the car at idle. Sadly the builder has went through a few including a 348 shaft of a different design. Think the suggestion is it's probably a resonance issue.

That is amazing!!

Surely it wouldn't take a genius to make it work?!?

There is even a retro bike in the background for Shug!

The spec is incredible including carbon disc brakes all round. 38l fuel tank though is a mistake for the road.

It is hard to see why it is advertised as a project car, what still needs to be done apart from final mapping? It is road registered on SORN, insured with Mary, so must be MOT'd. Definitely more track car than road car though.

If all that needed done was final mapping, it would have been done. I read it as, "It runs like sh*t, and it's the next owner's problem to work out why, because I give up!"

Nobody builds that much car and gives it away for £23k with only "the final mapping" left to do. Smells like b*llsh*t to me.

Just put our first team on it, Robin etc, and they would sort it out in no time.

What could go wrong. <BG>

I thought the tank was tiny too.

the car I was racign at the weekend had a 35l fuel tank and I was given a 5/6 lap of KH limit before re-fuelling was required.

Read my post above, the mapping is not the issue (& I believe the owner maps engines for an oem).

Like the seller says, have a look at the thread & blog. It's all on there.

I guess his problem is valuing the car and trying to sell it? If he really wants it out of his garage then he'll have to price it right. It might be worth more as a piece of art!

Ironically he might be more successful if he made it reassuringly expensive.

I'm sure any car like that would have a few issues. Definitely one for a Mr Fixit car builder like Craig IMHO
