Scotland's First Oil Rush

Fantastic history of the original oil rush in Scotland.
Living here now it's hard to believe that Broxburn was Scotland's original boom town!

Yes, there's a great museum at Almond Valley Heritage Centre in Livingston.
Very informative for adults but also lots for the kids with tunnels to explore, animals to feed, play park, steam trains, country walks, etc.

Caught the end of this. It was a great watch. We used to live just outside Winchburgh. Looked like a tough gig!

Seconded regarding the above. We have a season ticket and granny takes sprog there almost every Tuesday. A great day out.
