Seasoned Campaganzers will know this place well. And despite our efforts to terrorise it many a time in the last 15 yrs or so, it's still in rude health:

(I'd recognise that aerial shot any time...brought a big smile...amazing wee corner of our little country)

Interesting article Campbell.
I find it strange that Broty beach is in the excellent category, yet Monifieth is in poor....I walk my dog there regularly (brought up in Broty so many happy memories) and the transition between the two aren't that noticeable....other than perhaps the erosion at M'fieth????

Na, it's the water quality they are rating based on. All the crap at B'Ferry has already been washed up onto the shore

Water quality at Broty and Monifieth improved markedly when they started pumping Dundee area's sh!te further up the coast towards Arbroath

Same in east lothian. Gullane gets excellent and less than 2 miles down the coast Yellowcraigs gets poor, whilst a bit further on Seacliff gets excellent. Quite happy at that. Yellowcraigs is MY beach and the less folk on it the better.
