White Lotus Elise Near Crash

Kathy has just been asked on Facebook if she knows anyone with a White Lotus Elise as earlier this afternoon beside Inchmarlo, Banchory the car in question overtook two cars and forced the first one to drive on to the verge to give the overtaking car space to avoid an oncoming car. Kathy has not responded and asked if I could post something up as both cars have reported the incident to the police as they were carrying children in each of their cars. No mention of catching the number plate, but it was mentioned that they knew the wife of someone who is on here.

Steve.

Driving home with Brian and James, Glenshee, Lecht, Keith, well away from Banchory.

I think white is quite a popular colour for the S3 elise ... unless you bought it from Mr Robertson ("only one in that colour in Scotland") :-)

Cheers,
Robin

Wasn't us. We were in Aberdeenshire on Saturday, but not Banchory. I was following the only white(ish) elise in the group and there were no dodgy overtaking manoeuvres, just some dodgy fashion choices.

IIRC the only Monaco white Mk1 was Del's old car - and I didn't sell him it

Certainly won't have been us as we were nowhere near Banchory or inchmarlo. Much further afield towards Glenshee and Tomintoul as tut was saying.

Agreed - I've been away 5.5 years, and they've been selling lots in my absence, so all colours are now common as muck

Are we allowed to buy direct from the factory? Could then be the only in that colour (in Scotland with an AU plate ...).

As many on SE will testify, I continue to assist those willing and able to buy Lotus cars in every way I can.....however, to keep both my kneecaps intact, such cars go via the good brethren at MMC. In whichever colour is required
