w@nky as this sounds, I need advice on a PDA. All I want is a simple one that can be synchronised with XP and Outlook 2000 or whatever we use here so I can get my Diary on it. Don't need GPS, MP3, camera or owt fancy.... just need a digital diary that's not chunky.
TIA.

I don't bother using a PDA anymore as all my contacts, calandar, notes photos and music synch with my iPods. Can't really beat an iPod Nano for size. Of course the downside is you can't add or edit contacts or diary on the Nano.

I use a MAC so my iPods synch with with MAC software such as iTunes, iCal, iPhoto and Address Book. I am sure there should be some way of synching with Outlook though.

I-mate Kjam or I-Mate Jamin.
The reason I recommend these, is because they are also a phone, one thing to carry then not two, and if your company runs Exchange 2005 it can push your email out to you much like a Blackberry but without the extra costs.

my Co runs Windows 2000.......
those are neat suggestions, but I was looking for something cheap & cheerful, a digital diary really

I've got the Orange SPV M500, which is actually the exact same as the I-mate one. Same company, HTC, makes them all, then different resellers rebrand them.
Lack of keypad annoys me a bit, but if I had a keypad, it would be perfect! I can't get by without it (diary/tasks/reminders synched up!).

It will synch with outlook, but it might conflict depending which version of outlook and which version of i-tunes you are useing.

I have had the I-Mate PDA2k which has a keyboard and i've had the Kjam, but to be honest I didn't use the keyboard much. TomTom is configured to use the keyboard if there is one on the PDA it's installed on, and I found it a right pain to use. So I've now gone for an MDA compact II. Bit slimmer and shorter than the Jamin.
