I am driving down on Friday for KH for Monty to check out something on the car, then staying the night with Robin.

Would be good to meet up with some friends on the Friday night for beers and a Curry before I am out of action for a while, so add your name if interested.

Yeah, I am not sure the beer-to-food ratio is going to be right at SQF ....

If in Edinburgh city centre I could pop in for a beer or 2 after work for an hour

I would imagine we'll do something in the Haymarket area - plenty of pubs around there - easy for people who want to come in on the train for the evening.

Could do Omar's http://omar-khayyam.co.uk for curry and say meet over the road in the Haymarket pub (it's on the corner of Morrison Street and West Maitland street, literally over the road from Omar's).

There are other pub/curry options broadly in the same place. Happy to meet up early as people like - say 5.30 in the Haymarket for 7.30 curry?

Cheers,
Robin

Does Haymarket work, or do you want to suggest somewhere more 'city centre' for you (I work York Place end but live Haymarket end so will be at both ends at some point during the day/evening :-)).

Cheers,
Robin

Looks like a romantic dinner for two then :-) Oh, and Tut!

Omar's big enough not to have to book for a small party - if anyone else decides they want to come, see you in the Haymarket.

Cheers,
Robin
