There was some good racing but it wasn't through the whole race you've probably seen the highlights by now. Good to see that the teams are a bit more competitive. It actually has potential for a decent season.

Yep, just mostly the first quarter, but good to hear the commentator getting excited and barely able to keep up with the action.

One of the worst attempts at overtaking that I have seen at Silverstone, and that was by the lead car.

Quite enjoyed the highlights. Nearly as good as BTCC from Donnie.

F1 was good, albeit Rosberg was miles ahead and probably had more performance in the bag,

My Sky box crashed and failed to record BTCC and the WEC from Silverstone, I'll have to catch highlights.
I did watch the last 30 minutes of WEC as that was listed as a separate program and did record. Never watched WEC but since everyone seems to rave about it, I thought I'd give it a go. Maybe Silverstone wasn't the best example, firstly I struggled to get into the race at such a late stage, then there didn't seem to be much racing going on with most cars 30+ seconds apart after 5h30 of racing. I also don't thnik I could ever commit to watching a full 6 hour race. Am I missing something? :S

Not really Chris, I felt the same.

Six hours is too long to watch a program for and with the different Classes and vastly different speeds it makes it very hard to follow. I find Le Mans even more so, they are Endurance races and can often have no racing at all due to the gaps/time between cars.

Watched China highlights. Textbook example of what spectacle can be achieved with upside-down grids. BTCC does well with it, and Stock Car racing uses this format to brilliant effect, as witnessed at Cowdenbeath Racewall on Sat night.

Vettel made an arse of himself over that, Kvyat laughed at him in the room of awkwardness then laughed again when shown the re-run of the incident in post race interview. I think the comment was "that's racing", Vetttel starting to show a Schumacher-esque sense of entitlement.

Really showed himself up and did indeed come over as petulant. Kvyat went for the gap which was there, and if Vettel had stayed on line there would have been no problem.

Loved the exchange of words with the youngster explaining what racing was all about.

Amusingly no one that I spoke to in China even knew this was on including a few people who were absolutely car daft, and I've been in In the moneyed section of the country.

You would have laughed your ass off watching us trying to describe to the staff at the Hilton what it was we wanted on the giant screen in the bar. How do you describe F12 people who aren't even aware of car racing in general?
