Honda 340R on eBay.

Post by tut » Fri Apr 15, 2016 5:58 pm

Non genuine but built with new 340R parts on an Elise chassis. S/C, CC, 380hp, virtually a new car. Hard to read the spec as it is badly laid out so have re-formatted it.

It was built using all genuine 340r parts, every single panel and part is genuine 340R on Elise chassis (same chassis as 340r), so is registered as an Elise.
Clean v5 in my name. HPI clear. 9,000 mile that's 9000 miles 2 owner car, you cannot tell the difference between this and a genuine 340R, its recently had new front screen (heated) the tts Supercharger kit has been fitted since Xmas so have the shocks and springs and lots of other parts, the fuel system is all brand new inc Teflon lines, its in superb condition, a few chips on the sills but the rest is unmarked.

Bang for buck this is the best you will get for the money, all the decals and numbers can be removed. I did a Sprint and have not yet removed the numbers.

Serious questions only, immediate contact on auction end and collection within a week unless otherwise agreed prior to auction end.

Some twat outbid me!!!!!!!!

Would not bother me that it was not a genuine 340R, it's virtually a better than new car with the best engine going putting out 385hp, but that is going to affect its value, so interested to see what it goes for.

Allegedly Stormin' Norman selling the car, tut - Sure I spotted a thread regarding it on that South-eastern Lotus related forum?

If you are interested in it, better to PM the seller.

Tis actually for someone else Ross, N3 is enough for me, don't need any more toys, but I know how the system works.

That is my only bid to start it upwards so I will be informed until it sells. It will be for over £25K but the none original is an unknown quantity. There will be three types of buyers, original only, either but taking into account residual values, and those like me where the spec of the car is the most important factor.

It's was up for sale earlier in the year. I assume it never made his reserve.

I don't think you need to bid to get informed. "Watching" it does some notifications, no?

/\ what he said.
Bidding only means you get notified of bids if yours is the winning bid and it gets bettered, you don't get bid notifications. You get the same notification by setting a 'watch item'.

if it's anything like the other 'cars' he has sold on Ebay, then whoever ends up with it will be somewhat disappointed.

I think without exception, they have all turned out to be total dog's.

He did not go ahead, as reading around I had a good idea that if the price stayed low then he would do a con job on it.

Had dealings with Norman and his mate before with N1.

without going into too much detail, I know of two that have been ebay'ed that were basically scrap, with tarted up panels, a paint job and a 'interesting' story.
