Holy Cow, 9.30am, when she was in the house that's just brazen, they just don't give a f*ck do they? I hope the scum get caught and brought to justice, this is all too common these days!

Thanks guys. Really gutted for them. They are due to go away on a holiday of a lifetime tomorrow morning, been building up to it for years, and now this happens.

Please share on FB as much as possible - maybe a long shot, but possibly the only chance of getting it back. It is a bit distinctive with the bike rack on the back.

So, insurance company paid out a good price and settled fairly quickly. This morning the police have found my sister's van in pristine condition in a garage in the west end of Glasgow.

Is this where the value of camper vans seems to have suddenly risen and they want more for it than they paid out......

I am interested in how it works out though.

:thumbsup Insurance have already paid out so the van will get a cat D title and will be sold, will not affect your sister as she could have already used the money to buy another

With a hint of coincidence, my sister also lives in Bearsden and has just returned form holiday to find her garage has been broken into and my nephew's bike stolen. It was decent bike as he has been competing in junior triathlons the last 2 years. He's gutted (age 11). Bloody low-life scum. :chainsaw

My brother got his car back a couple of days after his break in but his wives car has still not been found

They arrested a well known crook who was in a van with one of the well known young burglars - they had the key to my sister in law's car in the van as well as a key to a mini they stole the same night as my brothers break in - still not enough evidence to charge though

Im sure the car will turn up as its probably parked in quiet residential street somewhere but my brother cant wait and is having to claim

Total pain in the ass

The annoying thing is he knows who the main young ringleader is who broke into his house and nicked his X3 as the car was found near his house - he is still at school at Liberton High and you can go onto his facebook page etc He is just a young boy but the punishment, due to his age, is no deterrent so they keep doing it after a slap on the wrist by the courts

Low life scumbags
