Scottish Elises

Russell was my doctor in Old Deer for twenty years. Since we moved here I have seen every one in the practice as they seem to call me in every week to change my prescriptions and take more blood. Todays one was surprised to see me in bare feet and said that it was dangerous as I could step on a piece of glass and bleed to death.

I showed her my feet and a rather strange look came over her face.
