Also in the Telegraph, Guardian, BBC News, Chief Constable called it unbelievable that something like this could happen. Two sides to every story, find the other one in this case.

The Police should be ashamed of not supporting one of their officers. Particularly one whose commitment to carrying out unpaid support to the force then looses his livelihood as a result of their actions

That is an absolute joke! The guy was simply doing his job! This stupidly PC world we now live in has lost the plot! Best be careful next time you're doing a 3 point turn in case some yobs on illegal off road bike come racing up the road and crash as you're in their way! This is beyond stupid!

Farcical, the Police Service should be ashamed having taken a prosecution forward. If anything, it shot have been an internal disciplinary matter.
