Ad08R pressures Exige s2 PP

Post by rawsco » Wed Feb 03, 2016 5:33 pm

Hi guys any Exige owners running AD08Rs suggest cold pressures for 205/45/16F 225/45/17R combo please? Presumably just the same as the A048s but slightly less on the front due to larger contact patch, or is it higher due to wider contact patch? :cheers

The contact patch will be the same size, but maybe a different shape!

I'm running the same tyres on a MY06 Toyota Elise S2 and consensus from Tut & DJ was 23psi front, 26psi rear which so far has suited me fine for road and a few laps of KH.

I'd go a little harder personally. Service book says 26 front and 29 rear.

I ran them 24f and 26 rear on my S2, never had any issues, however, it wasn't an Exige.

Gone with 24/26 see how that goes... Out of note they have totally transformed the car the 48s on the front were the originals from 2008 so the car had quite a lot of understeer due to the fronts being hard. Suited me tho being new to the Exige/Elise platform.
