Buy it! Who cares - what's the worst that it can cost to put it back on the road - in fact, who cares, really.

It's one car I regret never owning and if I had time I would buy it and get it back on the road, but it's taken 3 years to get the current elise on the road and I am not ready for another mission just yet!

I've loved every one I've ever driven (which is 3 or 4 from memory).

Cheers,
Robin

Agree with the above. It's the only lotus I miss out of all the ones I had.

I always thought that it was the best looking variant made, but never lusted after one because of the tin top.

This was for sale last year before I bought mine. It dissapeared from the classifieds though. Can't recall if it was a little more expensive or not. The pics are the same from last advert. It's got the must have interior option, but not clear if it's aircon car or not.

If it's straight and all there, the engine is running and the body work is very good as in the pics, it could be a great car and at the money pretty good. :cheers

They believe a car is for polishing not for driving

Landrover ?? = Muddy shrek spec
Unimog 404S = Very slow silly offroader spec
Kubota F1900 = Snowplough spec

If I had a buyer for my elise I'd be on a train up to Aberdeen right now!
