Regarding the Exige 350

"A lighter and faster version of the Exige, it packs the same 345bhp supercharged V6 engine but has shed 51kg of weight over the Exige S on which it's based."
Is this a direct result of the Lotus workshop where all the parts of the car were layed out in a room and staff were asked for recommendations to reduce weight ?

Could be a prequel to an exige 400....or maybe not but it does look good.
Absolutely love the exposed shifter linkages and 2.5 seconds quicker around Hethel isnt too bad either!

some nice subtle changes to the general interior - buttons, placement, etc. too.
Damn..... here I am thinking about further upgrades to the Evora next year - but I have to admit that I do love the look of this new Exige.
I'm also loving the louvered rear engine cover.... but what will it be like for visibility?
