It lives...

Post by Victor Meldrew » Tue Nov 24, 2015 3:14 pm

Vicky passed her MOT today... She will be coming home on Saturday.

Expect a resurrection thread to appear at some point..
Not the car that she once was but very much more than I ever expected.
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

Congratulations! How long is that she's been off the road?

(I don't want to get too optimistic, but I might just be joining the resurrection club shortly... 2.5 years and counting)

Saw Vicky today when I picked up my car fom CMC. I also saw her 2 weeks ago and the transformation is stunning. 2 weeks ago the engine was in position and the hubs and brakes were in place but everything else was, to put it mildly, a mess. Most of her was still in boxes. Now it looks like a properly cared for S1...CMC seems to have come up trumps again....M

From boxes of fkdup bits to cared for S1. That is the magic of CMC.

Maybe cared for is pushing it. But rejuvenated yes :-)

I witnessed the repatriation this morning at CMC. Golden moment. Actually, silver and shiny black :-)

Enjoy, John. Look forward to first impressions.

Wish I was sometimes. Very serene and minimalist.

DDtB is the true bidey-in there though.

(I was getting new pikey spec Falkens fitted to the Skoda at nearby Redpath Tyres, and just had a wine swap to arrange with Craig). :-)
