Whisky question.

Mrs pete has organisesd a leaving present for a colleague and, having bought the things they normally buy, finds herself with 160 quid left. Apparently the guy likes whisky so knowing there are drinkers on here I wondered if there were any suggestions...

Not a whiskey drinker myself, but both my brothers are in a big way and are currently very much enjoying a 30yr BenRiach single malt. Quite hard to find it appears though.

I'll see what else they suggest for the money as well

15 yr old Glendronach Revival. Then use the change to get a Kilchoman 100% Islay.

With £160 I would go for 10 bottles of Black Grouse but I'm uneducated in such things and have a palette tainted by years of swilling beer, vodka and red wine.
