Okay taxi chap is out of diesel at 11:30pm in Inverurie. Where is earnest garage?

If he's totally out of diesel it's a recovery truck he needs, not a filling station.

Is there not a BP near the A96?

Ha ha, got home but on fumes... How I don't know? But we did. Nothing open anywhere and no pay at the pump options either. I did have my RAC card to hand or taxi number to phone another taxi

there is pay at pump at Tesco

Also at Stevensons and Morrisons. (though not sure they are 24hrs, but then that would just be stupid if they were not, but then again stupidness seems to abound nowadays, the World is being taken over by Cretins Anonymous.)

A taxi driver running out of fuel strikes me as professional negligence, however.

Tesco does have 24hr fuel in Inverurie, filled up there manyvtimes at stupi o'clock. Morrisons and Stevensons both shut at 10 iirc.

I live in Inverurie and I've used the Tesco 24 hour pay at pump loads of times outside the petrol station shop opening hours, plus the pay at pump machines were just recently upgraded.

Taking up a collection for new glasses for James, maybe for his taxi driver as well.

Yup,

Tesco is the only 24, pay at the pump.

BP shuts at 10 I think, Morrison's have stupid hours and are shut by 8pm.

slightly further afield, Alford has a 24h pump, that even supplies V-power.
