Wonder if I did a vinyl wrap on the elise, the same as that, how much attention it would get.

That must be the standard JLR wallpaper. We saw the whole fleet FPace discos and range rovers over in Grossglockner Austria doing towing tests with from what I could see looked like trailer loads of steel. They also had one that stayed covered only to come out when the road closed to the public. From the shape it could have been a mule related to the next Defender, but not much to go on. Certainly nice to see lots of testing done rather than the old approach of letting the public do it.

Well, as you put it like that, would you be available to supervise the fitting of it? :blackeye

I'd also always been tempted when seeing the psychedelic wraps they use. Might make my new Toxic Green one less conspicuous anyway!

I think you're on to something. Why stop at black and white, why not stick with the toxic green and use SE blue from the website header as the 2nd colour on your psychedelic wrap? ;)

If you did wrap an S1 like that, you'd also have to fit a strange exhaust, maybe exiting through the diffuser and refit the clams with odd panel gaps. Kknowing the way Lotus work, you probably will end up on the front of a car mag with the headline "is this the new Lotus Elise" and a story explaining that it's a development mule testing out a new engine.
Emphasise this further by fitting a rear Elige clam, and anything from the Reverie catalogue.
