Post by a4drk » Sun Oct 11, 2015 12:15 am

Are the wing mirrors the same as another car ?

my car is in getting repaired & Lotus dont have a date for a new wing mirror

Someone told me they were the same as a Metro ! surely not ??
might have to go down the scrappies route to source one

Was very generous and gave them away Campbell when N3 departed to its last resting place.

Did not realise then that they were the same.

That's how I sourced mine after a deer collided with it.

Or may simply have been eBay.

I am sure that if you did a tour of Perthshire and Grampian you will find sufficient 'parts' of various 'Tut' originals to make a single whole. Might be blue and yellow mix but def enough bit to make at least 1...[FACE WITH STUCK-OUT TONGUE AND WINKING EYE]
Exige 240 (Gone but not forgotten and will be replaced)
Mini Cooper (wife spec)
BMW dog wagon

you can reuse your old painted cover on them...that's what I did recently.

As long as you have that bit obviously...or you can paint the new one.
