F1 Russia

Only in Russia..... diesel spill on the track;

Second practice should be interesting, with rain forecast - water and diesel will make an interesting traction proposition.

People complain about F1 being boring. If they sprayed the tracks with diesel before each race, I'm sure it would get a lot more interesting.
It would also sort the men from the boys.

Leaves. Diesel, water and leaves. And those things you get on Mario Kart ... bananas, magic mushrooms, cannons - that would make ti more fun to watch :-) Has anyone watched the almost impossible game show? I imagine that would wear thin after a while, but it is very funny ... F1 needs to be looking at this level of entertainment IMHO.

Just in from taxi duties for daughter then wife, popped telly on, only to see Young Sainz having that off.... :shock:

Fingers crossed he's ok and the stretcher was more a precautionary measure than a necessity...

Sainz is now racing today from the rear of the grid.

We're backing little Max Verstappen, I think. Nice to see him poke the A Team in the eye by out-qualifying. Fair margin too, IIRC.

Can't watch live tho, nephew's birthday party, so no spoilers pls.

It'll be interesting to see his approach to turn 13.

Final BTCC is now just starting on ITV4 and Gordon is in a good place to win the Championship if he is not taken out by Plato or one of the others in with a chance.

Plato up to his usual tricks on lap 1, but Shedden, sensibly, opted not to get involved.

Had to switch over to F1, but just caught the Plato move.
