There has been a few mentions of scottish microbreweries
So what is your fave?
And what is your fave beer from them
I have discovered these guys just down the road from me

I'm quite a fan of the speyside brewery at Forres. They do a very nice IPA (Moray IPA).
If anyone's interested I know the chap who started Scotland's first run distillery, it's in Banchory and their spiced rum is magnificent. He's offered a tour round the place, they're keen to get a word-of-mouth reputation. Dark Matter Distillers.

There is a really good selection of mostly scottish craft ales at Aldi just now, bought 20 different ones to try yesterday

I had a good few evenings not long ago with a chap called David MacDonald and he has started his own brewery whilst I believe still working at Cardhu Distillery.
He new range is called

Islay Ales do a range of 10 beers and are a nice tipple.
If you are doing the Dukes pass pop in to the real ale shop
