Karting today

I was at Raceland today, really good fun.
Did 3x10 minute sessions, no idea what it cost, just handed over some cash to my mate :p Think it was about £32 for the lot.
I was lapping about 1m 03s to start with and got that down to a consistent 1m 0s so was pretty happy to improve that much, no idea how that compares to a good driver though!

We'll need to get another kart event sorted like the one Mac did in December, it was superb fun.

Excellent I love Tranent ! My record is somewhere in the 58's and I can consistently get within 59's if the conditions are good. I have a SIDC karting session next month - can't wait :D

Here's a piccy of previous action

Don't talk to me about that fecking track... On Mac's organised day, I managed to spear the wall on cold tyres at the fast bottom bend (fnarrr) and had a large Mexican pile in from the rear....

Broke me fecking ribs!!!

(good enough simon?) :P
