F1, web viewing overseas...

Post by Dominic » Sat Sep 26, 2015 2:43 pm

I am looking for suggestions for a website to view the Japanese GP on as I am currently in Lithuania, and it would appear that it is not on TV here. TIA

Oh, and what time is the race on at?

:cheers

Not sure about websites, other than BBC which you probably won't be able to access in Lithuania.
The race starts at 6:00am BST which, if my calculations are correct, is 8:00am in Lithuania - slightly more civilised.

I've been using VPNUK for years https://www.vpnuk.info/comments.php and use BBC,ITV, SKY Go, netflix 4OD etc all as if I was in the UK, coupled with AppleTV it's the perfect solution for my needs.
It's £5.99 a month for two devices but I doubt you'll want to subscribe to something like this for a one-off.

For motorsports not on BBC or SKY I usually use dodgy streaming sites but they are not always reliable and usually littered with popup adverts, http://www.stream2watch.co/sports and http://www.vipleague.me are where I go for MotorsTV, they'll likely have a stream for the F1 as well.

Stream to watch that Kenny suggested (was free and did not ask for credit card details to view). :thumbsup

I would expect nothing less! I actually tried them too, but was coming up with pop up window asking for my credit card details,... given that I am currently a few miles from the Russian border, I am a bit suspicious of things popping up requesting such details :blackeye
