In true Hamster stylee, our very own Mac was involved in a bit of a shunt tonight; just want to be the first to wish him all the best for a speedy recovery.
In case of those really concerned, the Liz is ok - it was a works van incident
Seriously though mate - get well soon!

Sounds like a life threatening injury Mac.
Would you like the number of Claims R Us?

ps tongue in cheek, but assuming that it is not serious, you do have quite a thick neck

Hope you get better soon Mac.
Never had whiplash, but do get a lot of neck pain, so I kinda know how it feels. Not nice.

Cheers guys.
Got a bit of a fright as I seen it happening from the start and it's way different when your not in control and there's nothing you can do about it.
Car (03 focus estate) is pretty much totalled with the drivers wheel now rubbing aginst the wing with a huge amount of camber
The drivers' door is now the window frame, the window and the hardboard bit inside. The inner and outer skins of the door were peeled off in the accident. There's also a hole in the door inner where something has came into the cab.
All in all I think I'm damn lucky to have got out with only whiplash and a sore back - another few feet and it could have been my legs that got the brunt of it instead of the wheel.

Sounds like it could be a lot worse.
I guess you'll be off work for a bit? Posting on here all day?
Take it easy. Get well soon.

P.S. no climbing this week then?

Think the climbing will be out this weekend
Just need to make up with for it by drinking lots of alcohol instead.
